Nendo Computer Gadgets for Elecom

Adding to their last group of computer gadgets for the Japanese brand Elecom, the Japanese design firm Nendo presents two new computer “mice” designs and another clever USB design. Data Hook, a new USB in the same family as the paper clip/USB Data Clip, is a small carabiner that extends into a thumb drive. Handy to clip onto bags or cables (or other Data Hooks), the stick comes in five colors. Although the Orime wireless mouse is constructed entirely of flat surfaces, Nendo claims that it fits comfortably in the hand (I have not tested it out). I think Orime looks like a regular mouse that has stepped into some kind of digital realm where it must battle for its right to survive. Joining Orime is Kasane, a deconstructed wireless mouse with side buttons and left- and right-hand click buttons that are stacked randomly,”like papers scattered on a desktop,” according to Nendo.
