Please tell me about the designy things logo.

The designy things logo was designed by Jason Scuderi using the Paperclip font. According to the font’s designer, Jan Schmoeger of Paragraph, “this decorative headline geometric font contains only lowercase letter forms. The shapes of lowercase letters are ‘triangular’ while their uppercase counterparts are ‘square’. As the name implies, the shapes are derived from bending paperclips. The idea occurred to me during a very long afternoon in an office, very long time ago. The font works best at large sizes, short words, short headlines.”
