What I want:

Designy Things is looking for objects that can be either crafty or techy, as long as they are well-made and functional. If it’s sustainable, that’s a plus. I prefer items that are new to the market or soon to be introduced. We will include link backs to company sites as a courtesy to readers. This site will not accept products or payment in exchange for publication.

Things I typically will cover: Handheld accessories, modern jewelry, modern personal accessories, tabletop, kitchen gadgets, kids toys, baby toys, small decor items, desktop accessories, tools, humanitarian aids.

Things I typically won’t cover: Large clothing items, lighting, building products, materials, antiques, art. You can send architectural building products to me at editor [at] architectstoybox.com if you’d like to be considered for www.architectstoybox.com.

Please send a short description of your product (or the official press release if you have it) in the body of the email as well as an attachment, along with low-res images of the product(s). If you have a link where I can download the free, high-res images that’s great. Otherwise, I will request high-res images if I am interested. If you don’t hear from me within 2 months of submission, please feel free to send a follow up email. While I can’t currently pay for photography, I will gladly list any photographer credits, so please include them.
