You don’t need to have ever stepped foot on a dock to know that sailboats don’t normally fit in the trunk of a car. That’s what makes the TIWAL 3 such a game-changer. Available now at the MoMA Design Store, the TIWAL 3 inflatable sailing dinghy can be packed into two bags for easy transport and storage and assembled in less than 30 minutes. Retailing for $6,195, it’s a much more affordable option than a standard (non-inflatable) sailboat. According to the financial blog mintlife, the cost of a 22-foot-long model would average $20,000. Dutch design company Moooi and Korean eyewear brand Gentle Monster have collaborated on the Third Eye Collection – a new line of sunglasses inspired by ancient Egyptian hieroglyphic drawings and the concept of the third inner eye that represents the vision beyond ordinary sight. The designs of the Moooi x Gentle Monster silhouettes all start with a circular lens at their center and include four styles: Trinity, Divinity, Sincerity, and Infinity, which come in select color options. Available online or at Moooi brand stores in London, New York, and Amsterdam, the sunglasses are available in a price range from $240 to $320. All images courtesy of Moooi.
The pocket square, while functionally unnecessary, remains a critical accessory for the well-dressed man or woman. The Wingtip Wallet, a bi-fold wallet designed to be your pocket square, recently hit its funding goal of $11,000 on Kickstarter. Inspired by early traditional wallets, the Wingtip features six pockets for I.D. or cards, a long pocket for cash, and is made of 100% premium “vegan” (synthetic) leather in a matte black finish. A clever way to carry your wallet while still looking stylish. All images courtesy of Wingtip Wallets.

Write it down, then share it with me later over cavier and souffles.” Or something like that. Ideal for architects, designers, or anyone who likes to sketch, the 160-page, cloth-wrapped notebook includes eight repeating graph paper patterns (including some new grid designs) and a variety of useful charts covering knot-tying, logic expressions, perspective projection, a world map, and more. $16.95 from Princeton Architectural Press and other book sellers.
